Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KheloKanpur ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" — the khelokanpur.com website and any related mobile applications.
• "User" or"Customer" — anyone who registers and books sports venues on the Platform.
• "Venue Owner" — a business or individual who lists their sports facility on the Platform.
• "Booking" — a confirmed reservation of one or more time slots at a venue.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. One account per person; shared or automated accounts are not permitted. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability. When you book a slot, it is locked for a 5-minute payment window. If payment is not completed within this window, the slot is released.

Prices displayed on the Platform are set by venue owners and include applicable platform fees. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (₹). Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

A booking is confirmed only after successful payment. You will receive a confirmation with a QR code ticket that must be presented at the venue.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel a booking up to 5 hours before the scheduled slot time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 5 hours of the slot time are non-refundable.

Refunds to your original payment method take 5–7 business days. Wallet refunds are processed instantly. For full details, see our Refund Policy.

6. Venue Owner Obligations

Venue owners must provide accurate information about their facilities, including photos, pricing, operating hours, and amenities. Venue owners are responsible for honouring all confirmed bookings.

If a venue owner fails to honour a booking, the customer will receive a full refund and the venue owner may face penalties including suspension from the Platform.

7. Prohibited Activities

• Creating fraudulent bookings or fake accounts.
• Scraping, crawling, or automated access to the Platform.
• Attempting to bypass payment or security systems.
• Posting false reviews or malicious content.
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Reselling or transferring bookings without authorisation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including logos, text, graphics, and software — is the property of KheloKanpur or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

KheloKanpur acts as an intermediary between customers and venue owners. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or condition of any venue. Our liability is limited to the booking amount paid through the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KheloKanpur shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding a booking, you may raise it through your booking details page. We will mediate between you and the venue owner and aim to resolve disputes within 7 business days.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be subject to arbitration in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a banner on the Platform at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
